The problem with reading today isn’t the number of books, but the fragmentation caused by everyday interruptions, which breaks our “narrative transport.” Fabulè doesn’t read for you: when you pick a book back up, it rebuilds the thread of the story and helps you with intricate plots, large casts of characters and complex worldbuilding — without simplifying any of it.

Its guiding principle is “look back, never forward”: the assistant only answers about what you’ve already read and keeps you at the centre of interpretation, offering narrative facts rather than meanings. A strict anti-spoiler protocol protects discovery: your reading position — the bookmark — limits the AI's narrative context to only the text you have already read.

The interview also covers how Fabulè adapts to both casual and expert readers, and looks ahead to what’s next: versions designed for writers, to analyse the structural coherence of their stories, and for theatre professionals, to study scripts.
